It is often the small details that enrich our lives. Before, during and after the conference, they can be experienced in the immediate vicinity of our seminar rooms: Retreats that provide support and energy for discourse.
If you take a closer look at our educational institution, you will discover many of these lovingly and sometimes artistically and architecturally thought-out details outside in the park and inside in our villa, which brighten up the day.
Chapel
Simply pause
Our chapel is located in the basement of the villa. Here, our guests are invited to pause, even if only for a brief moment, regardless of their denomination or humane world view. Perhaps it will be possible to return to the conference and everyday life strengthened and creative after a stay there.

The centerpiece
Good ideas often arise in informal conversations before or after a seminar. The foyer of our villa is ideal for conference breaks. It connects the conference rooms and offers a fantastic view across the park to the shore. A fireplace can be heated in winter. This room cannot be booked exclusively, but is available to all conference groups free of charge.
Havel common room
Multifunctional room for our guests next to the restaurant
Our “Havel” lounge on the first floor of the guest house near the reception and restaurant is used as a reading and TV room. If you need a suitable room to make the final preparations for a conference or to hold hybrid meetings – such as a Zoom or Teams conference – this is also the place to be.
Social room / club room
Beautiful togetherness
For comfort, entertainment and board games. During conference breaks or at the end of your conference, a cozy club and social room is available in the basement of our guest house. Whether you want to round off an evening at the bar (a fridge with drinks is available), play a game at the darts machine, have a relaxed chat in one of the three seating areas or enjoy entertainment via TV, you’re sure to have a great time together in a pleasant atmosphere.
Leisure activities
The Wannsee and the surrounding forests offer numerous opportunities for leisure activities.
Many of our guests enjoy a 15-minute walk around the island, which is steeped in history, or jogging in the nearby forest. The viewpoint at the bridge to Schwanenwerder Island and the famous Wannsee swimming pool are also within walking distance. The lake is ideal for a variety of water sports activities.
At Wannsee you can visit the Liebermann Villa, the House of the Wannsee Conference, Glienicke Hunting Lodge or Peacock Island. It is also worth taking the ferry to the beautiful village of Kladow on the picturesque shore. In Potsdam, which is not far away, the Dutch Quarter and Sanssouci Palace are well worth a visit. The summer residence of Frederick the Great with its impressive palace park invites you to take a leisurely stroll.
You can reach the center of Berlin in half an hour. Stroll and discover the capital at Alexanderplatz, Unter den Linden, Ku'damm, Zoologischer Garten or Potsdamer Platz. A visit to the Museum Island, numerous galleries and exhibitions offer attractive destinations for those interested in history or art.
