Environmental protection? But of course!
More and more conference guests are paying attention to environmentally friendly travel – and therefore feel that they are in the best hands at our Protestant Educational Center on Schwanenwerder.
Because we act sustainably and support you in making an important contribution to environmental protection during your conference. As a society of the Evangelical Church in Germany, the Evangelical Church Berlin-Brandenburg Silesian Upper Lusatia and the Evangelical Academy in Berlin, we would like to play our part in preserving creation.

Our actions include a responsible and careful approach to the natural and social environment and regular self-monitoring. The entire team is geared towards current climate protection requirements.
EMAS certificate - Community eco-management and audit scheme
Our environmental management seal of approval
The basis for this is our voluntarily initiated “EMAS” certification, which has been in place since 2013. As part of this, we as a company communicate our environmental management system, which is regularly assessed by external auditors, to the outside world with maximum transparency.
With the current “EMAS” environmental statement from 2023, we are once again bearing witness to the progress we have made and our ongoing commitment. We document achievements, evaluate developments self-critically and make success measurable.
