Our house is located at the transition from the Havel to the Großer Wannsee on the island of Schwanenwerder on the outskirts of Berlin – far away from the hustle and bustle of the capital and yet only half an hour’s drive from the vibrant city center. On Schwanenwerder, after the idyllic journey to the easily accessible island – by car or thanks to our shuttle service from the nearby S-Bahn station – a delightful combination of tradition and modernity awaits our guests.
Our fully renovated historic conference villa, built in 1913/14, is available for a variety of barrier-free uses. It is surrounded by a listed park that is exclusively accessible to our guests. The extensive complex is complemented by a modern, equally barrier-free guest house with 39 single and double rooms and a restaurant.

Enable reflection and create spaces for thought in “heavenly peace”. Come “down” on a very special shore far away from the stress and hectic pace and use the good energy for exciting discussions. There’s no doubt about it: nature lovers will be delighted with our house.

An open house for encounters
Our Protestant house is run as an educational institution by HOSPES Evangelisch-Tagen GmbH and is a member of the VCH (Association of Christian Hotels – www.vch.de). It is sponsored by the Evangelical Church of Berlin-Brandenburg-Silesian Upper Lusatia (EKBO), the Evangelical Church of Germany (EKD) and the Evangelical Academy of Berlin. We are also open to groups from other religious communities or associations and institutions from the fields of culture, science and education. Conference guests who want to work, learn or train together are just as welcome as guests who want to pray, meditate or come together for inner reflection. Against this background, private events such as family celebrations are not possible on our premises.
